Poetry in Motion with CBBC performer, poet Paul Lyalls
9.30 - 10.30 am (2 - 4 years - Adult must accompany child)
A dynamic introduction for young children to poetry through play with words, song, movement, and imagination games. Children will gain new vocabulary, confidence and friends. Make sure you remember to bring a parent!
10.30 - 11.30 am (5 - 8 years)
Learn to rap and rhyme! Discover poetry in fun and physical ways through drama and movement games. Your child will gain the skills to create crazy and funny poems, and perform them. Families will be invited to an end of term show!
About the guest artist:
Paul Lyalls starred in the Big Slam House hosted by CBBC and regularly works with poet Michael Rosen. Paul was the first poet to perform at the New Wembley Stadium. We are delighted that Paul is our Creative Club guest artist this term, and know his sessions will be filled with fun, laughter and creativity.
