The Snowman & other Christmas family favouritesSunday 6 December 2009 A family friendly concert packed with Christmas classics. Come along and experience an afternoon in a winter wonderland; whisked away on a Sleigh Ride, get in the festive spirit with the Nutcracker Overture and enjoy the story of the Snowman, as he comes to life overnight for an adventure. A fantastic treat for everyone, this concert is an informal and fun chance for families to experience a live orchestra performing up close, right in the heart of East London. The New London Orchestra is known for its imaginative programming, mixing little known works with popular classics. Our concerts are presented from the stage by Artistic Director Ronald Corp and for this Christmas programme, the Orchestra will perform Howard Blake’s The Snowman, live with the animated film by Raymond Briggs.
